Working with a Freight Forwarder

You might be here because are new to exporting and want to explore what it is that freight forwarders do, as well as how best to work with them. Or, maybe you are already exporting successfully but want to better manage your relationship with your freight forwarder. In either case, the key point here is that a good freight forwarder will enable you to export more effectively.

They can give you access to significant cost savings, especially when compared to arranging international freight transport requirements yourself. However, despite these advantages you also need to understand, not just the commercial risks and regulatory risks involved in working with a freight forwarder, but also how to use freight forwarders to best effect to realize your export ambitions.
